Your tired piece,
made new.

Bring in a tired heirloom, a stone you love, or a piece that needs rescuing. We keep what matters and reimagine the rest, by hand, in house.

The same stone, a second life.

BeforeAfter
  • Heirloom remounts and stone resetting
  • Modernizing dated settings
  • Combining several pieces into one
  • Matching bands and restyled gallery profiles

Your stone never leaves our bench.

The part most people worry about is the stone. Here is exactly how we keep it safe, from the moment a piece comes in to the day you wear it again.

  1. 01

    Intake and assessment

We examine the piece on the bench, document its condition, and talk through what the stone and the memory mean to you.

  2. 02

    Safe stone removal

Stones come out under magnification, one at a time, then are weighed, mapped, and stored. Nothing leaves our bench.

  3. 03

    Redesign and reset

We build or restore the setting by hand in house, reset every stone, and finish the piece so it is ready to wear for decades.

And what we rescue.

From a snapped chain to a worn-thin shank, our master jewelers handle delicate and complex repairs that many shops send away. We do it here, on our own bench.

  • Ring sizing, retipping, and shank rebuilds
  • Prong re-tipping and stone tightening
  • Pearl and bead restringing
  • Engraving, polishing, and rhodium plating
  • Clasp, chain, and solder repair
The piece that has been in a drawer for twenty years is usually the one worth wearing again.

Redesign & repair questions

Will my diamond be safe during a redesign?
Yes. Your stones never leave our building. We remove every stone under magnification, one at a time, then weigh, map, and store them in house. The same bench that removes them rebuilds the setting and resets them, so your diamond is never shipped out or swapped.
Can you turn old jewelry into something new?
That is the heart of our redesign work. We remount heirloom stones, modernize dated settings, and can combine several pieces into one ring or pendant you will actually wear. You keep the meaning of the original and get a piece designed for today.
What repairs can you do in house?
Ring sizing, prong retipping and stone tightening, worn shank rebuilds, pearl and bead restringing, engraving, polishing, rhodium plating, and clasp, chain, and solder repair are all done at our Hoffman Estates bench, including delicate work many shops send away.
